This is for the benefit of those of you on the east coast who went to sleep early. The New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, and Cleveland Indians completed a 3 team deal this evening involving 12 players! Here are the particulars…
Seattle has acquired RHP Aaron Heilman, OF Endy Chavez, LHP Jason Vargas, IB Mike Carp, OF Ezequiel Carrera and RHP Maikel Cleto from the Mets; and CF Franklin Gutierrez from the Indians.
Seattle sends RHP J.J. Putz, RHP Sean Green, OF Jeremy Reed and INF Luis Valbuena to the Mets. New York then sent Valbuena to the Indians to complete the trade.
Good Morning!
