As an Angels swason Ticket holder who has seen a 50 percent increase in prices in two seasons, this is very maddening. They have a better player in Robb Quinlan that they already struggle to get playing time for!! Check out these 2006 and career comparisons. Quinlan 2006: .321/.344/.491/..835 and Hillenbrand 2006 .277/.313/.451/.765. Then career Quinlan: 302/342/463/.805 vs H'brand 287/325/449/.774 Both are descent fielders and both play 1B/3B/DH, but Quinlan can also play both corner OF spots. And with Figgins, McPherson, Kotchman, K. Morales also competing for time at 1st and 3rd, I am dumbfounded (Or maybe just dumb).
It's hard not to agree with you. This deal is pretty much a joke.
