Saturday, December 23, 2006 Angel Suffers Broken Wing...uh, Leg The AP is reporting that Juan Rivera sustained a broken left tibia while playing winter ball in Venezuela on Friday.
Rivera's left leg has been placed in a cast and he will be flown to Miami, where he will be re-examined by a trauma specialist tomorrow. Depending on how severe the break is, he might not be ready for the beginning of the season. posted by Joe Hamrahi at 12:15 AM |
