Vidro Returning to Nationals Lineup

Washington Nationals Vice President and General Manager Jim Bowden announced today that second baseman Jose Vidro has been reinstated from the 15-day disabled List.

Vidro, 31, is hitting .300 (103-for-343) with 16 doubles, six home runs and 33 RBI in 90 games for Washington this season. Vidro was placed on the 15-Day Disabled List with a left hamstring strain on July 25 (retroactive to July 18). Vidro will be present for tonight’s series opener at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
