Sunday, August 20, 2006 Street Hits the DL
The Oakland A’s today placed right-handed pitcher Huston Street on the 15-day Disabled List retroactive to August 19 with a strained right groin. To take his spot on the roster, the A’s have recalled left-handed pitcher Ron Flores from Triple-A Sacramento.
Street was injured in the A’s 5-3 loss in the second game of the doubleheader on Friday night in Kansas City after allowing the tying and go-ahead runs to score in the Royals four-run eighth inning. posted by Joe Hamrahi at 12:03 PM |
