Sunday, August 20, 2006 Rangers Recall Koronka to Start Today
Texas Rangers General Manager Jon Daniels announced today the club has recalled LHP John Koronka from Triple-A Oklahoma and has optioned RHP Scott Feldman to Oklahoma.
Koronka, who will start for the Rangers today at Detroit, will be making his 23rd start of the season. He is 7-7, 5.31 (73 ER/123.2 IP). He made his last major league start at Los Angeles of Anaheim on August 5 and was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma on August 7.
