Sunday, July 23, 2006 Durham Delinquent
According to TBO.com, Devil Rays OF prospect Elijah Dukes ran afoul of an authority figure with Triple-A Durham for the third time this season Friday, and it cost him a one-game suspension imposed by Manager John Tamargo for Saturday's game at Toledo.
Rays director of minor-league operations Mitch Lukevics confirmed that Dukes argued with Tamargo in the dugout during Friday's game, after Dukes was removed from the game by Tamargo for running through a "stop" sign at third base. Don't miss BDD's interview with John Tamargo coming soon! posted by Joe Hamrahi at 12:00 PM |
