Alomar Jr. Dealt to the White Sox

WHITE SOX ACQUIRE SANDY ALOMAR JR. FROM DODGERS
IN EXCHANGE FOR PITCHER B.J. LaMURA

CHICAGO – Following today’s game, the Chicago White Sox acquired veteran catcher
Sandy Alomar Jr. from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for minor-league pitcher B.J. LaMura. To make room for Alomar, the White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow’s game vs. Minnesota.

Alomar, 40, is hitting .323 (20-62) with nine RBI in 27 games (11 starts) with the Dodgers this season.
